why are religions so hostile towards other religions? most religions believe in God and or Jesus, but just have a different name for him. so why do we make a big deal if people are not the same religion as us? why do we have to get all up in other people's faces about their religion? we believe some religions are true but yet we still believe that our religion is the "truest" religion. why can't we just be content with ourselves believing what we believe? why does everyone else have to see things the exact same way as us? thats not fair and it makes no sense.
and what about that whole "if you don't believe in God you go to hell?" well what about all of the people in china who don't really have a choice? or in other contires where Christianity is not an option? God is a just and fair God so don't you think he would let them go to heaven? its just like little babies. they don't know any better; they don't know yet what they believe. and most people believe that they go to heaven....so wouldn't the other people too?

Very true. we need to except people for eho they are, not because of their relegion.
But in the bible it says that the only way to heaven is threw Jesus Christ, so the whole going to heaven thing and not knowing about God is a little off balence, but no one really knows.
i wish we could know. that would make everything a hell of alot easier
ahhh Emily...the things you ponder at your young age. the questions you are brave enough to not only let roll around in your thoughts...but spill out into statements and questions...are truly worth restling with...and I find myself in your same frame of mind.
Jesus and the life he lived...not just his death...are worth serious consideration and emulation. God didn't send His son into the world...but to save the world thru Him...(paraphrase Jn 3:17
God is big enough for your questions...and when we boil down what is required of us...Jesus said..."Love the Lord your God with all your heart soul and mind...and...the other is like it...Love your neighbor as you love your self.
That leaves little room for judging and condemning our human family. I vote we manage our business and let God be God.
The paraphrase of JN 3:17 should have read...
God didn't send His son into the world to CONDEMN the world...but...to save the world thru Him...
Hopefully that makes more sense.
it would be so much easier tho if people weren't doing what they're "standard" of god is. or trying to make others like that. plus if we knew more about god these questions wouldn't have to be asked
You have a blog!? Awesome.
